Hoist the anchor Set sail from shore There's nothing left here For me anymore When I rest, where will I be? Two hundred miles beneath the sea The day we left port your eyes were green The sky was black and the sea in between Whitecaps and rain flew over the sides The sun did set and the waves did rise And the only taste on my tongue Was the salt of the sea and me Come what may be Water and sky eternally Fierce, free life on the sea On and on, come what may be On Calypso's island I didn't stay long My heart was left on the banks of the lee I never heard the siren's song Cause the only woman for me Was the salt of the sea and me Come what may be Water and sky eternally Fierce, free life on the sea On and on, come what may be I'd walk a thousand leagues for you With an oar on my back and no shoes on my feet You can't imagine what I would do For another taste Of the salt of the sea and me Come what may be Water and sky eternally Fierce, free life on the sea On and on, come what may be

Rivers 01:55
well the clock keeps ticking and the days do pass and we’re all a little older, but not much taller or bolder there’s a rot in my gut, dunno if it’ll last but i sure feel like shit, push it down don't let it sit I’m sittin' on my bed, lying through these dog days hoping for adventure, and seeking simple pleasure cause its easier than thinking, just light it all ablaze don't let the truth sink in, deny it like your sins well there’s an otter in the sky and there's a rat in my life and we’re all sons of bitches and anxiety’s our mistress cause the road is long and hard and the river leaves you scarred cuts through all your rope who knows how we can cope and here’s to those bastards who've held on the whole way don't know if you can last, they seem to drown real fast once the ship gets a leak the captain rarely stays maybe he’s waiting for a bullet, to rupture the wood he was waiting to jump, maybe the crew never fit but memories last forever, and the ropes weren't gonna sever and we’re sitting here, floating on weak shit but it saves us from the river, that drowns and delivers well there’s an otter in the sky and there's a rat in my mind and we’re all sons of bitches and anxiety’s our mistress cause the road is long and hard and the river leaves you scarred cuts through all your rope who knows how we can cope who knows how we can cope

Monsters 03:48
William was a Wolfman, he lived just right next door he ate a hundred people and he didn't say what for he howled at the moon for being just a bit too bright you could see him looking in your window very late at night Steven was a Swamp-Thing, he lived down by the creek I saw him when I wen't a-walking every other week he was an alright fellow, just a bit misunderstood he didn't get many visitors down in his neck of the wood Johnny was the Devil, he went to my school now he walks the streets alone, eyes cold and cruel Sally was a Sasquatch, she lived in my backyard I told her all my problems when my life was getting hard Vicky was a vampire, she came and stole my heart she was only in it for my blood, and that tore me apart Johnny was the Devil, he was a friend of mine but I grew up, and he grew horns, and now he's doing time Gary was a Goatman, he scared the life out of me I thought I saw his eyes a-glowing behind every tree I could feel his presence watching me on the ground where I would sleep the fear I felt deep down inside made me start to weep.

Tempest 03:13
I’m swimming through a sea of faces Each is more changed than the last And aren’t you amazed at how birds fly As the sands blow further from the past The ripples expand Distorting as the drift As they form smiles Contorting with the winds The one Sparrow’s truth Rings in my ears So I drown it in daffodils And cry tears for fears A cannon sounds the end of those days Filled with scrapes and sticks and stones Make way for anxiety and money These delusions of time travel shake my bones Maybe time travel is what we need But all it does is create wormholes Benny boy had it right of course But I left those thoughts back with the coals Maybe this way I can fuck up on my own Only now the carousel horses won't catch me I am the princess and the knight too The red one knew people can’t be free The Devil’s in rose pajamas He’s serenading me with hopes and lies Because not all dogs go to heaven And every living thing dies

Oubliette 03:25
Well the king he is a dancing at the end of the hall And if I join him I'll get stuck inside a crystal ball So I try to keep my distance at the end of the line And I know that in the mornin', I'll feel just fine Oh yeah, My mind is melting again Oh yeah My mind is melting again The gang’s all here, Beowulf and Grendel Eatin' split pea soup cooked by Gregor Mendel Calvin's out back giving lessons to Hobbes But they're both philosophers and neither's a snob So yeah I get along with my friends Oh yeah I get along with my friends Oubliettes a fancy word for throw away and forget and now I'm all alone smoking fake cigarettes Dungeon master is a bastard but he treats me well Cause he holds the only key to the gates of hell I've been driving through the doldrums for a number of years Just another lethargarian who speaks through his ears And I know I'm not the only one who still plays the game My thoughts and my reality are one and the same Oh yeah It's time to pretend Oh yeah It's always time to pretend “You only have what you remember” that was what you said And now a thousand memories are leaking out of my head Sit and stare for hours at the mirror on the wall Just to find that it's a painting not a mirror at all My mind is melting, what can I do My mind is melting and I'm feeling blue My mind is melting what can I do My mind is melting and I'm feeling blue Oh yeah, This is the end Oh yeah, This is the end I can remember how it looked just not the way that it felt And I think that that's the part that makes my mind melt Oh yeah, My mind is melting again Oh yeah My mind is melting again
